چکیده: یکی از شیوههای تامین مالی کسری بودجه دولت در کشورهای در حال توسعه از جمله کشور ایران، مالیات تورمی است که چندین دهه در حال اعمال میباشد. مقاله پیش رو در صدد است رابطه و تاثیر آن بر عدالت اقتصادی را تبیین کند. مالیات تورمی در اثر افزایش پول کاغذی مازاد بر نیاز اقتصاد پدید میآید که سبب انتقال قدرت خرید پول از مردم به دولت میشود. پرسش مطرح در اینجا اینکه آیا میتوان گسترش بیعدالتی را پیامدی عام و فراگیر برای مالیات تورمی، صرف نظر از ویژگیهای یک جامعه در نظر گرفت. فرضیه مقاله این است که مالیات تورمی در کنار دیگر پیامدهای فراگیر، سبب گسترش بیعدالتی در جامعه میشود. نتیجهای که به دست آوردیم این است که مالیات تورمی از چند راه سبب گسترش بیعدالتی در جامعه میشود. روش تحقیق در مقاله پیش رو در مرحله گردآوری اطلاعات، کتابخانهای، در استنتاجهای قرآنی و روایی، تحلیل متون و در بحثهای اقتصادی تحلیلی- توصیفی است.

The Impacts of Inflation Tax on Economic Justice; A Theoretical Analysis

Abstract: One of the instruments for financing government’s budget deficit in the developing countries, including Iran, is inflation tax, which has been utilized since decades ago. The present article tries to explicate its relation with and impact on the economic justice. Inflation tax is a result of the increase of paper money over the amount the economy needs, which transfers money’s purchasing power from the public to the government. The question here is whether one can regard the rise of injustice as a universal and systemic consequence of inflation tax, regardless of the particular society’s nature. The article’s hypothesis is that inflation tax, among other things, leads to the rise of injustice in the society. The findings show that it leads to the rise of injustice in some different ways. The method adopted in this article is the library one in the phase of gathering information, text analysis in the Quranic and Hadith deductions, and descriptive-analytical in the economic arguments.
